A versenyre 13 kategóriában lehetett nevezni, és különdíjakat adtak át felnőtt és 17 év alatti pályázóknak is. Idén két nagydíjas kép született: az egyik Tim Laman orangutánról készült fotója, a másik pedig Gideon Knight varjúja, ami a holdfényben ül egy ágon a Valentines parkban.
